Established 1983
Centrum Bucktown is a recent project from Centrum Partners – a Chicago-based developer of high-end residential, retail, office and hospitality buildings. Abbey was retained by Arco Murray, the General Contractor on this development.
The six-story building has an outdoor terrace, a fitness center and a lounge/entertainment room. Its most attractive feature is its proximity to The 606, a 2.8-mile rails-to-trails project that intersects Wicker Park, Bucktown, Humboldt Park and Palmer/Logan Square.
Abbey was on site:
- Constructing 36 structural-suspended stoops
- Building ‘knee walls’ for window placements
- Delivering the building’s aesthetic design by constructing the unique rooftop balconies that create the character of the building
